Lugarno Spring Festival
The Lugarno Spring Festival is one of the area’s biggest and most popular community celebrations, bringing thousands of people together at Gannons Park for a fun-filled day. Organised by the Lions Club of Lugarno, the festival features more than 160 stalls, carnival rides, live entertainment, delicious food, a classic car show, children’s activities and attractions for the whole family. Funds raised help Lions support important local charities, services and community projects.

Wellness Festival Bankstown
The 2026 Bankstown Wellbeing Festival will be a vibrant community event celebrating mental, physical and social wellbeing. Held in Bankstown on Thursday 8 October from 10am to 1pm, the festival will bring people together through a variety of enjoyable activities, helpful information and opportunities to connect with local services and community organisations. Georges River Council Christmas event
The Georges River Council Christmas event at Carss Bush Park will bring the community together in December 2026 for a joyful evening of festive entertainment and family fun. Set against the beautiful waterfront surroundings of Carrs Park, the celebration is expected to feature live performances, children’s activities, food stalls and a special appearance by Santa, creating a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to celebrate the spirit of Christmas together.
